What is the Warm Homes: Social Housing Fund?
It’s a government-funded grant scheme that provides energy efficiency upgrades and low carbon heating to eligible households. The goal of Warm Homes: Social Housing Fund is to make homes warmer and cheaper to run.
The Warm Homes: Social Housing Fund is how we’re working in partnership with Liverpool City Region Combined Authority and Sefton Metropolitan Borough Council to provide funded energy efficiency upgrades to your home.
How do I know if I’m eligible?
Households wanting to apply for Warm Homes: Social Housing Fund must meet all funding conditions:
- Properties with an EPC band D to G
- Owner occupiers or private rented tenants (Landlord Contribution Required after 1st property treated at 50%)
- Households’ annual income of £36,000 or below, Having additional vulnerability as set out in route 2 of Eco Flex Criteria
or
- Households living within eligible postcodes (we can check this for you!)
If you qualify for funding, we’ll perform a home survey of the property to make sure we can install upgrades.
