What is the Warm Homes: Local Grant?
It’s a government-funded grant scheme that provides energy efficiency upgrades and low carbon heating to eligible households. The goal of Warm Homes: Local Grant is to make homes warmer and cheaper to run.
Warm Homes: Local Grant is how we’re working in partnership with Sefton Metropolitan Borough Council to provide funded energy efficiency upgrades to your home.
How do I know if I’m eligible?
Households wanting to apply for Warm Homes: Local Grant must meet all funding conditions:
- Properties with an EPC band D to G
- Owner occupiers or private rented tenants (Landlord Contribution Required after 1st property treated at 50%)
- Households’ annual income of £36,000 or below, Having additional vulnerability as set out in route 2 of Eco Flex Criteria
or
- Households living within eligible postcodes (we can check this for you!)
If you qualify for funding, we’ll perform a home survey of the property to make sure we can install upgrades.
