Ecogee approved as Octopus Cosy Accredited Installer and Tenant Power delivery partner

Ecogee has been approved as an Octopus installer, marking an important milestone in the business’ growing retrofit and renewables capability.

Ecogee has been approved as an Octopus Cosy Accredited Installer, marking an important milestone in the business’s growing retrofit and renewables capability.

The approval enables Ecogee to support the rollout of Octopus Cosy heat pumps and deliver works associated with Octopus Energy’s Tenant Power scheme, helping housing providers and local authorities invest in low-carbon technology while delivering benefits for residents.

For housing providers and local authorities, the scheme creates an opportunity to support decarbonisation, reduce energy costs for residents and help investment in low-carbon technology go further. The model is designed to split the benefit of solar and battery installation between tenants and landlords, supporting resident savings while creating a return for landlords.

Supporting the rollout of Octopus Cosy heat pumps

As a Cosy Accredited Installer, Ecogee is approved to deliver Octopus Cosy heat pump installations, helping homeowners, housing providers and local authorities transition to low-carbon heating solutions.

The accreditation recognises Ecogee’s technical capability, commitment to quality and ability to deliver customer-focused renewable energy solutions.

The approval strengthens Ecogee’s position as a trusted retrofit and renewables delivery partner, supporting housing providers with practical, future-facing solutions across solar PV, battery storage, air source heat pumps and whole-house retrofit.

Ecogee has already worked closely with Octopus Energy on recent Octopus installer delivery. Feedback highlighted the team’s open and transparent communication, constructive approach to problem-solving and ability to translate technical information clearly.

Kieran Steel, Renewables Technical Manager at Ecogee, was specifically recognised for his professionalism and technical clarity during the process.

Gill Kelly, Managing Director of Ecogee, said:

“This is brilliant news for Ecogee and a significant step forward in our renewables journey. Becoming an approved Octopus installer opens up new opportunities for us to support housing providers with innovative low-carbon solutions that can benefit both residents and landlords.

“Tenant Power is an exciting model for the social housing sector, and this approval gives Ecogee another way to help deliver warmer, greener and more efficient homes.”

The milestone reflects the work of Ecogee’s renewables and operations teams, who have played a key role in securing approval and developing the business’ technical capability in this area.

As demand for low-carbon technologies continues to grow, Ecogee is focused on supporting partners with clear, practical and resident-centred delivery.
